I am a Turkey-based independent video journalist and producer; English, French and Turkish speaker.
I graduated from Istanbul’s Galatasaray University with a degree in International Relations. I spent two years in France, had my master’s degree in journalism and visual media.
My work includes production for a variety of clients including the Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, BBC World and Persian, Rai Radiotelevisione Italiana and Deutsche Welle Turkish. I wrote for Turkey-based French monthly Aujourd’hui la Turquie, L’Officiel, Gaia and Welcome to the Jungle magazine.
In 2017, through a grant by the International Press Institute, I analysed the consequences of restrictions on free expression and press freedom on other aspects of Turkish society.
I am currently working on breaking news and features; I produce, shoot, edit and write.
